DNS Whitelist – Protect against false positives

Report Abuse from dnswl.org-listed IP addresses

Although it is assumed that dnswl.org-listed IP addresses emit far more wanted than unwanted email, some level of unwanted email is to be expected. And of course, we want to know about it so that we can take action (eg put the entry on a watch list, contact the owner etc) or to simply have more data for the next review.

There are four ways to report spam from dnswl.org-listed IP addresses:

  • If you encounter spam once in a while, you can forward it (with all relevant headers) to admins@dnswl.org.
  • If you have specific information or action to take on an entry, you can use our request form.
  • If you want to regularly report spam samples to us, please register as a spam reporter. This currently has a simple web interface to copy&paste the source of an email; more comfortable solutions are planned for the future.
  • If you have reputation data that you can share with us, please contact us so that we can work out a way to incorporate your data (admins@dnswl.org).
